A man of the ancient city
You draw orderly shapes on the hard stones

from the bottom of the eternity
A curved man between the veils of cold and
silent fog
Between the burning sunrays.
You pass in silence
And then come back at any age
The shadow of your story
The time calls you back.
And I walk slowly sad and serene

The thoughts of the man of the ancient city.

From the discovery of a poem written by Mrs. Palmira, dedicated to the "Stonemason", a text dedicated to those workers, who still today as they did in past centuries meet in Siena while patiently carving every stone, the famous "Pietra Serena", used for paving the streets of the city to facilitate the flow of water and make the streets uniform. From the words of this text, Moussa created in 2009 the pictorial work entitled "The Stonemason's Way of the Cross". The meeting of these two friends and the bond between these two works, the making of the short film that, along the streets of the Sienese city, follows the transport of the "cross", as a representation of a modern procession, pain and difficulties of everyday life.
The film was selected for the 19th Edition of the Terra di Siena International Film Festival.
